The company has completed a technological upgrade of its EDI ultrapure water system, achieving a stable resistivity of 18.2 MΩ·cm in the product water.

In April 2026, the company announced the completion of a technological upgrade to its EDI (Electrodeionization) ultrapure water production system. The upgraded system employs a fully membrane-based process—two-stage reverse osmosis combined with EDI—delivering effluent with a stable resistivity of 18.2 MΩ·cm, thereby meeting the stringent water‑quality requirements of high‑precision manufacturing processes in industries such as electronics, pharmaceuticals, and power generation.

What should be done if the chloride ion concentration in the effluent is too high and affects the COD determination?

During COD analysis, chloride ions in water samples are readily oxidized by the oxidizing agent, and their high concentrations can lead to elevated measurement results.

Is the effluent failing to meet standards? I’ve compiled all the influencing factors!

During wastewater treatment, a variety of effluent‑quality issues may arise, such as non‑compliant levels of COD, ammonia nitrogen, total nitrogen (TN), and suspended solids (SS). Since the underlying principles of biochemical treatment are essentially the same across different systems, this paper uses domestic wastewater as the case study to summarize the common challenges encountered during operation that lead to effluent non‑compliance.

Are you performing the maintenance and cleaning of your ultrafiltration membrane correctly?

Ultrafiltration membranes are widely used and have proven highly effective in sectors such as the construction industry, pipe manufacturing, wastewater treatment, sealing materials, fibers, and packaging films. Their performance is particularly noteworthy in industrial applications—such as thermal power plants and chemical factories—where they deliver significant social value and comprehensive benefits. However, as operating time increases, ultrafiltration membranes require regular maintenance and cleaning to maintain optimal performance and achieve their intended objectives.

A Comprehensive Guide to Baghouse Dust Collectors: Understanding Their Working Principles, Operation, and Maintenance

The operating principle of a baghouse dust collector is as follows: Dust-laden gas enters the baghouse, where larger, heavier particles settle under gravity and fall into the hopper. The gas containing finer particulates passes through the filter bags, guided by flow‑diverting plates; the dust is captured, thereby purifying the flue gas. After purification, the dust concentration in the flue gas is ≤50 mg/m³, meeting environmental protection standards.

A Comprehensive Guide to Baghouse Dust Collectors: You’ll Understand Everything After Reading This (Part I)

4. Analysis of Mechanical Damage to Filter Bags: (1) Friction and puncture caused by rough frame surfaces and sharp weld marks. (2) Improper storage, transportation, and installation. (3) Excessive blow‑off pressure leading to bag abrasion. Remedial Measures: (1) Ensure proper maintenance of the frame and keep its surface smooth. (2) Use appropriate packaging; during storage and transport, avoid compression and bending, protect against water and direct sunlight, and handle with care during installation to prevent impacts; never drag the bags on the ground. (3) Adjust the blow‑off pressure.

9. Short-term excessively high or low flue gas temperatures, or filter bag combustion—cause analysis: (1) High flue gas temperature may result from the boiler’s actual evaporation exceeding its rated capacity, improper combustion adjustments, or ash and slag deposition on the heating surfaces. (2) Low flue gas temperature may be due to air leakage in the boiler’s rear section, as well as factors such as inadequate combustion control or modifications to the heating surfaces, all of which can lead to abnormally low exhaust gas temperatures. (3) Combustible particulate matter may be present.

The International History of Baghouse Dust Collectors

In the 1780s, early baghouse dust‑removal technology emerged; however, at that time, the process relied solely on suspended bags, resulting in relatively low operational efficiency.
