Integrated wastewater treatment equipment combines the primary sedimentation tank, the first- and second-stage contact oxidation tanks, the secondary sedimentation tank, and the sludge storage tank into a single unit. Blower aeration is applied in the first- and second-stage contact oxidation tanks, effectively integrating the contact oxidation process with the activated sludge process. This design leverages the advantages of both methods while mitigating their respective drawbacks, thereby further enhancing the overall efficiency of wastewater treatment.

A wide variety of wastewater treatment processes are employed both domestically and internationally, broadly categorized into the activated sludge process and the biofilm process. Common methods such as conventional aeration, oxidation ditch, A/B process, and A/O process belong to the former, while rotating biological contactors and contact oxidation fall under the latter.
Advantages
1. It exhibits strong resistance to shock loads, with an average hydraulic retention time of over 6 hours in the contact oxidation process.
2. It possesses denitrification and dephosphorization capabilities and, by adjusting the equipment’s design, can treat industrial wastewater, domestic sewage, and municipal wastewater.
3. The packing material in the contact oxidation tank is predominantly composite soft packing, which is lightweight, high-strength, chemically and physically stable, has a large specific surface area, exhibits strong biofilm adhesion, and ensures high contact efficiency between the wastewater and the biofilm.
4. The contact oxidation tank is equipped with diffusers for forced aeration, ensuring continuous agitation of the fiber bundles and uniform oxygen distribution, thereby promoting mature microbial growth and exhibiting characteristics typical of the activated sludge process.
5. The effluent quality is stable, and sludge production is low and easy to handle.
6. The submersible pump can be installed directly within the equipment, thereby reducing project investment.
7. The equipment can be installed above ground or buried underground. When buried, the surface can be landscaped, resulting in a small footprint and minimal above‑ground structures.
8. Easy to implement automated control, with simple management and operation.
9. The equipment can be mounted on a vehicle to form a mobile, integrated wastewater treatment system.
