Application Areas of FRP Integrated Wastewater Treatment Equipment

Fiberglass-reinforced plastic integrated wastewater treatment equipment is suitable for treating domestic sewage and similar industrial organic wastewater from residential communities, hospitals and sanatoriums, office buildings, shopping malls, hotels, restaurants, government agencies, schools, military units, seafood processing plants, livestock processing facilities, dairy processing plants, and other similar sources. It is particularly well‑suited for the treatment of organic wastewater generated in industries such as textiles, brewing, papermaking, leather tanning, food processing, and chemical manufacturing. The primary objective is to treat domestic and comparable industrial organic wastewater to meet reclaimed‑water quality standards, thereby enabling the resource‑based reuse of treated effluent.

      Process Flow Diagram

The design of the fiberglass‑reinforced plastic integrated wastewater treatment system is primarily intended for treating domestic sewage and similar industrial organic wastewater. Its main treatment process employs a well‑established biochemical method—the contact oxidation process. Water quality parameters are based on typical domestic wastewater standards, with an influent BOD of 200 mg/L and an effluent BOD of 20 mg/L. The system comprises six major components: (1) hydrolysis–acidification tank; (2) contact oxidation tank; (3) secondary sedimentation tank; (4) disinfection tank and disinfection unit; (5) sludge storage tank; and (6) blower room and blowers.

      Process Flow Description

After anaerobic fermentation in the septic tank, the wastewater flows into the equalization basin, where it is homogenized and its flow rate is stabilized before being pumped to the Grade A anoxic tank. In this biological treatment stage, heterotrophic bacteria hydrolyze soluble organic matter into organic acids, breaking down macromolecular organics into smaller molecules and converting insoluble organics into soluble forms. Additionally, proteins and fats are ammonified, while the nitrified effluent returned from the secondary sedimentation tank undergoes denitrification to remove ammonia nitrogen from the water.

In the O‑level biological tank, aerobic microorganisms and nitrifying bacteria are present; these microorganisms degrade organic matter into CO₂ and H₂O. Under sufficient oxygen conditions, the nitrification process carried out by nitrifying bacteria oxidizes NH₃‑N to NO₃⁻, which is then returned to the A‑level biological tank via recirculation. In the anoxic environment, heterotrophic denitrifying bacteria reduce NO₃⁻ to molecular nitrogen. The effluent from the contact oxidation tank flows by gravity into the sedimentation tank for solid–liquid separation. After sludge settles, the supernatant from the sedimentation tank is sent to the disinfection tank, and the disinfected wastewater meets discharge standards.
