Application areas
The Constant Pressure Water Make‑up Device is widely used for water make‑up in air-conditioning and heating systems, residential communities, factories, commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, and other sectors. It can replace traditional expansion tanks and water tanks, reduce the number of starts of the main system’s circulating pumps, regulate system pressure and flow, and facilitate automatic water make‑up.
Process Principle
The Constant Pressure Water Make‑up Device operates by utilizing the expansibility of gas. The water pump fills the piping network and the pressure tank with water, while the bladder‑type diaphragm compresses the gas chamber, causing its volume to continuously decrease and its pressure to rise. When the pressure reaches the preset upper limit, the pump automatically stops. As the system pressure drops, the expansion of the gas in the tank forces water from the bladder back into the system; when the pressure falls to the lower limit, the pump automatically restarts. This entire operating cycle is controlled by a pressure switch, which uses an electrical control box to manage the pump’s start‑stop functions.
